Changes in technology and in the economy will affect the way we work, our workplaces, the jobs we work in, and the skills we will need to succeed. We want to know how workers are experiencing these changes already, how they believe technology will affect their ability to find and keep good employment in the future, and what kinds of training opportunities and workplace protections they need most.
The New Jersey Future of Work Task Force wants to know what YOU think are the most important and pressing challenges. Participate by Sunday, March 15, 2020 to have your voice heard.
To get started, choose a topic.
There is no doubt that technology will transform the way we work, the industries we work in, and the skills needed to succeed in the economy of tomorrow. To better prepare the State, its institutions, and its people for the future that technology will bring, we need to better understand how you experience the challenges of the future of work.
Your insights and ideas are critical to our work!
At the end of stage one, the Task Force and its partners will have a rank-ordered list of the challenges that YOU think are most important. The Task Force will then use these insights to inform the drafting of its recommendations.
Please tell us which of the two answer choices is your greater concern.
Respond to as many (or as few) two-option questions as you likeā¦or add your own option! The more you tell us, the better we can understand the challenges we face relating to the future of work. You can also scroll back up to pick a different topic.
NOTE: These ideas are not endorsed by the State of New Jersey, the Office of Innovation, or the Future of Work Task Force. Rather, they reflect a range of opinions.
